LCSW Supervision

Your Needs…..

You are ready to take that next step, and you want to provide your clients with the best care and experience, get your needs met with balance, and have a rich and fulfilling life.

You have just finished school or are trying to cultivate your skill set, need clinical supervision for your growth, and an ally to navigate this field.

You want a quality leader with your supervision services, which adds immense value to your work life, and you want someone flexible and relatable; however, also progressive enough to understand the unremitting changes in state and federal regulations, policy changes, and the shifting landscape of behavioral health locally and across the U.S.

Solution..…

Supervisees have an option of evening or day timeframes for supervision. These timeframes are scheduled for 2 hours each and the supervisee will meet twice a month to obtain the needed 4 hours of supervision. Rates for group and individual meeting times are reduced to advocate and inspire others to grow in the field. I only take a small group of supervisees to ensure enough time is dedicated to your needs with group and individual supervision.  Additionally,  I also provide bulk discount rates to obtain even lower rates.

I offer a free 20-30 minute Introduction to Supervision Zoom call every two weeks register now for the upcoming Introduction to Supervision Zoom session date by emailing me at angela@thegrittytherapist.org.

My Approach…..

My responsibilities as a supervisor is to be a leader to the profession, help you to understand your license’s state and federal regulations, assist with clinical risk management issues, and LCSW’s core competencies for working in the field. My style is collaborative with respectful, non-judgemental, ongoing feedback and open-mindedness. In all my relationships, my approach focuses on delivering an experience and service above what is expected.

Prior experiences of obtaining 4,000 hours LCDC (1995), 3,100 hours LCSW (2015), 216 hours Somatic Experiencing-SE (2023), and working in different areas of the behavioral health field for 28+ years helps me to understand the needs of supervisees. This work includes all populations and conditions, including direct client care and leadership roles at system levels, covering clinical services, compliance, quality, utilization review, and risk management with oversight of multistate clinical directors across the U.S. To continue sharpening my clinical skills I also carry a small client caseload in private practice.

Additionally, for those who want to become approved supervisors, I provide the 40-hour board-approved training for an LCSW to become LCSW-S.
